Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst to join the Regulatory Reporting team within Asset Management. The role involves supporting regulatory change initiatives and ensuring compliance with EMEA regulations, particularly focusing on EMIR, MiFID II, and SFTR. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into effective reporting solutions. Strong analytical skills and experience in financial services are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert on EMEA regulatory reporting requirements (with a focus on EMIR, MiFID II, SFTR).
  • Translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business and technology solutions.
  • Lead impact assessments for new or changing regulations and define business requirements for implementation.
  • Partner with Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Technology teams to design, test, and deliver compliant reporting solutions.
  • Support regulatory change programs, ensuring deadlines are met and controls are embedded.
  • Provide analysis and documentation of processes, data flows, and control frameworks.
  • Liaise with regulators, internal audit, and external parties as needed to address queries and ensure compliance.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience (6+ years) as a Business Analyst within financial services, ideally within an investment bank or asset manager.
  • Strong knowledge of EMEA regulatory frameworks, particularly EMIR, MiFID II, and SFTR.
  • Hands-on experience with regulatory implementation and change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate regulatory requirements into reporting and operational processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
