Summary: The role of Business Analyst focuses on delivering requirement specifications for Telemetry systems and SCADA projects within a well-known organization. The position requires a hybrid working arrangement with 2-3 days of on-site presence in Bradford. The contract is inside IR35 and offers a competitive daily rate. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business analysis within large enterprise environments, particularly in telemetry or SCADA upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translating business needs into specific requirements including UI design; Data models; Business procedural changes and Interface designs
  • Ensure thorough use of the Requirements Engineering model including elicitation, analysis, validation, documentation and traceability of requirements
  • Use the appropriate elicitation techniques such as interviewing stakeholders, facilitating workshops, conducting surveys to capture requirements accurately
  • Develop AS-IS and TO-BE business process models using defined standards, and use gap analysis to support delivery of any transition plans needed to reach the target situation
  • Manage stakeholder communication at all levels
  • Ensure that User Acceptance Testing takes place for all deliverables and support any associated testing activities
  • Support the delivery of suitable solutions which meet business requirements

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience within a Business Analyst role within a large Enterprise environment where you have had involvement in Telemetry system or Scada upgrade projects.
  • Experience of working alongside Developers and Testers within squads, and 3rd party providers.
  • Experience of wireframing.
  • Experience of User Stories where you have the ability to collect, evaluate and interpret information from multiple sources to identify and differentiate real user needs.
  • Experience of AS-IS and TO-BE processes
  • Experience within an Agile or Waterfall environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, with an analytical and reasoning ability.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
