Pigment is a change and transformation consultancy. We partner with other consultancies, government departments, and private sector organisations to solve complex change across Government and Defence.
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a major technology-enabled change programme within our defence portfolio. Our consultant will understand complex business environments, work with stakeholders to uncover the real problem behind a requirement, and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technology and delivery teams.
Our consultant will:
- Translate business needs into clear and structured requirements that can be understood by technology and delivery teams.
- Assess the impact of technology changes on people, processes, information and organisational structures.
- Develop a strong understanding of the technology being introduced without necessarily being responsible for its technical design.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews and process-mapping sessions.
Required experience:
- Proven background working as a BA in defence or nuclear is highly desirable, although we can consider those that have worked in other regulated sectors such as utilities or central government.
- Experience producing high-quality business analysis artefacts, including requirements and process models.
- Ability to understand complex problems, identify root causes and translate them into practical change requirements.
- Experience with large-scale digital transformation or technology implementation programmes.
Our consultant must have active and valid SC-Level Clearance due to project timelines.
