Summary: The Business Analyst – SAP Data Archiving role involves supporting a critical data optimization initiative by streamlining the SAP data landscape and ensuring compliance with data retention policies. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate workshops to capture detailed business requirements related to SAP data archiving.
- Analyse current data volumes, system performance, and data lifecycle management processes.
- Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to design an appropriate data archiving strategy.
- Document as-is and to-be business processes and system interactions.
- Assist in defining retention policies and mapping business data objects for archiving.
- Provide clear and concise documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, and test cases.
- Support testing, validation, and user acceptance activities related to the archiving processes.
- Ensure alignment with compliance, legal, and regulatory data retention requirements.
