Business Analyst (Risk & Controls)

Summary: The Business Analyst role at Tesco Bank, facilitated by AMS, focuses on enhancing governance and improving control models within the organization. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple priorities while supporting senior leadership with reporting and risk management. Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the delivery of governance frameworks and control improvements.
• Creating and maintaining documentation packs, status updates, and high-level plans.
• Gathering and analysing business requirements, ensuring alignment with governance goals.
• Identifying and monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and track key milestones.
• Managing and maintaining RAID logs and project artefacts.
• Preparing reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders.
• Coordinating and supporting governance meetings, including ad hoc calls and follow-ups.
• Provide administrative support to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of risk, controls, and governance processes.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Experience managing RAID logs and project reporting.
• Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and directors.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
