Business Analyst – (Retail Banking/Payments/Current Accounts/Agile/Jira/Confluence/Banking/Fintech)

Summary: The Business Analyst role focuses on delivering change initiatives within the Current Accounts Change Team in the retail banking sector. The position requires collaboration with business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure high-quality delivery of current account propositions and payments. Key responsibilities include documenting business requirements and supporting Agile delivery processes. The role is based in Knutsford with a hybrid working arrangement of 2–3 non-consecutive days onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work within the Current Accounts Change Team to deliver change initiatives across current account propositions, payments, and customer journeys.
• Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements from Epic through to User Story level, ensuring regulatory and compliance alignment.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure clear, prioritised, and high-quality delivery.
• Create artefacts including As-Is / To-Be process flows, wireframes, and impact assessments to support solution design.
• Support Agile delivery through active participation in sprint ceremonies, backlog refinement, and prioritisation.
• Ensure adherence to Barclays governance, audit, and control standards using JIRA and related tooling.
