Key Responsibilities:
- Defining the project scope and building out end-to-end processes for CRD VI compliance
- Eliciting requirements from front-to-back stakeholders, covering Capital Markets and Risk functions
- Planning and tracking workstreams, managing risks/issues, and ensuring milestone delivery
- Liaising closely with business heads, IT, and Regulatory Reporting teams to ensure alignment
- Conducting deep-dive analysis into current state systems vs. CRD VI requirements
- Creating high-quality BRDs, PIDs, and process maps for senior management sign-off
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst / Project Manager hybrid in Investment Banking
- Specific experience in Regulatory Change (e.g., CRR2, Basel III/IV, CRD IV/V)
- Deep knowledge of Capital Markets products and Investment Banking operations
- Successful history of delivering complex regulatory reporting or capital adequacy projects

Overview
My leading Investment Bank client is looking for a senior Business Analyst / Project Manager hybrid to play a pivotal role in their CRD VI (Capital Requirements Directive VI) transformation programme. This is a high-profile, long-term contract opportunity for a regulatory change specialist to join an established team in London and drive the delivery of a critical European mandate.
The Role
In this hybrid capacity, you will bridge the gap between project oversight and granular business analysis. You will be responsible for defining the programme scope, building out robust target operating models (TOM), and mapping complex data processes to ensure compliance with the new Basel III endgame standards. Working closely with the business, you will translate regulatory text into actionable project workstreams and ensure the timely delivery of reporting enhancements.
