Summary: The role of Business Analyst/Product Owner focuses on enhancing the Payments Experience within a financial services context. The position requires collaboration with product stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable requirements while managing the product backlog. This is a hybrid role based in Farnborough, with an initial contract duration of 12 months. The ideal candidate should possess experience in the payments sector and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult product stakeholders to understand business drivers and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements
- Work with Product Managers to evaluate the Product Roadmap to identify features for development and identify "definition of done" for each feature
- Lead robust, fast inceptions (identify scope, value, solution) and own prioritized actionable backlogs
- Elicit, capture, analyse and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and other technical documentation
- Define key features, specifications, and requirements based on Local Market/Market Enablement input for Delivery Teams
- Support in creating project timelines to allow for work sequencing
- Utilize analytical and critical thinking to ensure comprehensive end-to-end considerations
Key Skills:
- Experience in the Payments space
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile or Agile Scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to define key features and specifications
- Experience in capturing and documenting business requirements
