Summary: The role of Business Analyst focuses on supporting a large-scale platform replatforming programme in a product-led, high-transaction digital environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to facilitate the migration of complex Legacy platforms to modern solutions. This hands-on position emphasizes analytical partnership and effective communication to ensure successful delivery. Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Product Managers to break down roadmap themes into epics, features, and well-structured user stories
- Analyse current-state platform behaviour, dependencies, and constraints to support safe, incremental migration
- Help define future-state behaviour on the destination platform, identifying gaps, risks, and trade-offs
- Support migration sequencing by clarifying what must move, what can change, and what can be retired
- Create lightweight, decision-oriented artefacts (user stories, flows, models) to support fast and confident delivery
- Partner with Product and Engineering to refine and maintain a delivery - ready backlog
- Identify impacts, dependencies, and risks across systems, teams, and releases
- Collaborate day-to-day with delivery teams to clarify scope, reduce ambiguity, and unblock progress
- Engage stakeholders to validate understanding, manage change, and maintain alignment throughout delivery
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in digital, product-led, or platform environments
- Experience working on platform migrations, replatforming, or major system change programmes
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex systems and interactions
- Solid experience working in Agile delivery teams
- Confidence collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and senior stakeholders

Role Overview
This is a hands-on, Embedded Business Analyst role within a cross-functional product team. You will not be working in isolation or producing heavy documentation. Instead, you will act as a true analytical partner to Product Managers, helping translate product vision and migration strategy into clear, sequenced, delivery-ready work for engineering teams.
You will play a critical role in managing complexity, reducing delivery risk, and maintaining momentum as capabilities move from a Legacy platform to a new destination platform. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys problem-solving at both system and feature level, and understands how strong analysis drives better product decisions.
