Business Analyst - Pensions & Regulatory

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews across the business.
  • Investigate and document current processes, systems and ways of working.
  • Understand how information flows between teams and departments.
  • Map end-to-end business processes and operational workflows.
  • Produce process maps, swimlane diagrams and business documentation.
  • Gather, analyse and document business and regulatory requirements.
  • Support pensions and regulatory change initiatives.
  • Identify process improvements, risks, gaps and dependencies.
  • Work with business and technology teams to support systems integration activity.
  • Assist in designing future-state processes and operating models.

Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within pensions, financial services or regulated environments.
  • Strong background in process mapping and business process analysis.
  • Experience working on regulatory change programmes.
  • Ability to gather and document requirements from a diverse stakeholder group.
  • Experience supporting systems integration, transformation or change projects.
  • Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, Jira or similar tools.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.

You'll be a proactive and inquisitive Business Analyst who enjoys getting under the skin of how a business operates.

You'll be comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels, understanding their processes, systems and challenges, and translating this into structured documentation, diagrams and actionable business requirements.
