Summary: The role of Business Analyst - Payments SME involves working with a leading UK bank on a long-term contract focused on payments processing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various payment systems and a strong understanding of banking operations. This position is critical to a major programme, particularly in upgrading payment systems, requiring excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in payments processing and analysis for banking operations.
- Utilize expertise in BACS, CHAPS, Faster Payments, International SWIFT, SEPA, Cheques, Cash, and ISO20022.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project management.
- Contribute to the upgrade of payment systems within the bank.
- Leverage previous banking experience to inform best practices in payments processing.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience with various payment systems (BACS, CHAPS, etc.).
