Business Analyst (Payments) - 12 months contract

Summary: The role of Business Analyst (Payments) involves supporting a global IT consulting firm's project-based engagement in Singapore for a 12-month contract. The position requires leading requirements definition and process analysis for payments transformation programmes, focusing on various payment journeys. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in payments and transaction banking, along with strong stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Support end-to-end client delivery from discovery and analysis through to implementation support
• Act as a core Business Analyst on payments transformation programmes, leading requirements definition and process analysis
• Analyse complete payment journeys including cross-border, domestic, high-value, and real-time transactions, as well as clearing and settlement processes
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and support programme governance through presentations and documentation

Key Skills:

• Proven years of experience as a Business Analyst in payments, transaction banking, or cash management
• Deep understanding of global payments ecosystems, with strong exposure across Europe and ASEAN markets
• Practical expertise in SWIFT messaging frameworks (MT/MX) and ISO 20022 migration or implementation projects
• Solid background in corporate banking, treasury services, or institutional payments environments
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with credibility in front of senior clients
• Background in consulting would be good to have, particularly experience delivering large-scale transformation programmes.
