Summary: The role of Business Analyst focuses on supporting the re-platforming of the 'My Account' service within a large-scale retail/eCommerce environment. The position requires collaboration with various teams, including UX, Design, Product, and Engineering, to translate business and user needs into actionable requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in similar re-platforming projects and will be responsible for stakeholder management and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys with stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements.
- Perform proactive analysis of business and user needs, translating these into clear, actionable requirements.
- Identify and address constraints such as legal, privacy, and compliance issues.
- Map existing processes, highlighting gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Collaborate with other BAs to manage cross-team dependencies and define integration requirements.
- Partner with PO, UX, Designers, Developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment between requirements and delivered solutions.
- Write user stories with acceptance criteria, modifying and splitting requirements as necessary.
- Lead refinement and user story definition sessions.
- Define UAT test scenarios and validate outcomes.
- Create and maintain As-Is and To-Be evolution of requirements and processes.
- Coordinate stakeholder sign-off for requirements.
- Own the creation and upkeep of documentation for delivered solutions.
Key Skills:
- Experience in eCommerce and retail environments.
- Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into requirements.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
- Knowledge of UAT processes and documentation practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in re-platforming projects.
