Business Analyst LNG/LNG Trading SME - London - Downstream LNG

We are seeking a highly experienced LNG Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong business analysis capabilities to support the design, development, and transformation of Downstream LNG trading solutions at a major ETRM organisation based in London. The role requires deep expertise across the downstream LNG value chain, coupled with hands-on experience in shaping trading products and engaging with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across the downstream LNG domain

- Demonstrate strong understanding of the end-to-end LNG value chain

- Analyse and define LNG trading scenarios (SPAs, spot trading, portfolio optimisation, cargo diversion)

- Provide domain expertise in LNG bunkering

- Engage with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements

- Lead business analysis activities

- Shape and develop LNG trading products/platforms

- Collaborate with technology teams on LNG trading systems

- Support solution design, testing, and deployment

Key Skills & Experience

- Deep expertise in downstream LNG and global LNG markets

- Strong understanding of LNG value chain

- Experience in LNG trading environments

- Knowledge of LNG bunkering operations

- Business analysis experience

- Experience in LNG trading product/platform development

- Understanding of LNG trading technologies (ETRM/CTRM systems)

- Strong stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with major energy companies

- Exposure to digital transformation in LNG trading

- Familiarity with AI/analytics in energy trading
