The role sits within a large-scale programme focused on improving and modernising the legal aid application process, covering two interconnected products that form the end-to-end user journey:
The legal aid application process
The decision-making and outcomes process
Working across both areas, the successful candidate will play a critical role in analysing current and future processes, identifying business needs, documenting requirements and supporting the delivery of user-centred services.
You will work closely with Service Designers, User Researchers, Product Managers and delivery teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood, prioritised and translated into actionable outcomes.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-sufficient Business Analyst who is comfortable working within complex transformation programmes, engaging with stakeholders at all levels and bringing structure and clarity to evolving requirements.

- Collaborate closely with Service Designers and User Researchers to ensure business requirements align with user needs and service objectives.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions and stakeholder interviews.
- Produce high-quality documentation including business requirements, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria and impact assessments.
- Support backlog refinement and prioritisation activities within Agile delivery teams.
- Identify risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and constraints across workstreams.
- Work with technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented effectively.
- Support business readiness, change activities and stakeholder engagement throughout delivery.
