Summary: The role of Business Analyst (Investment & Market Data) involves working with an investment management client to deliver a data mastering model, requiring strong expertise in investment and market data. The position is contract-based for six months or more, with a hybrid working arrangement in Edinburgh. Candidates must possess extensive knowledge of asset/fund pricing and investment data systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis planning, take ownership of analysis plan, review to meet project demands

Key Skills:
- Extensive experience working as a career Business Analyst or Change Analyst within the investment sector
- Strong knowledge of investment and market data
- Good robust knowledge of asset classes, equities, fixed income, etc.
- Familiarity with asset/fund pricing and investment data vendors
- Willingness to work in the Edinburgh office 2/3 days per week

Meraki Talent’s investment management client is actively looking for three experienced BAs with strong experience of investment / market data. Our client is currently delivering a data mastering model to meet business needs, in conjunction with a 3rd party. This is a large-scale programme, hence the need for three further contractors. Our client has specifically requested candidates that have the knowledge of the investment/market data, that have solid exposure to asset/fund pricing, an understanding of the asset classes and so on. This is not a ‘general’ Data BA role where our client needs a good technical/business data BA, the investment data knowledge is absolutely essential.
