Summary: We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Investment Banking and data transformation initiatives. The role involves collaborating with the Data Team to implement scalable solutions using Snowflake and Data Vault methodologies. The candidate will translate business requirements into technical specifications while leading Agile ceremonies and managing stakeholder expectations. This position is hybrid, based in either Central Glasgow or Central London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Data Architects and Engineers to drive delivery on Snowflake cloud data platforms.
  • Define and document business requirements specifically for Data Vault modelling, ensuring data lineage and auditability standards are met.
  • Translate high-level business needs into detailed user stories and technical specifications for the data squad.
  • Lead and chair Agile ceremonies, owning the backlog refinement process in partnership with Product Owners.
  • Expertly manage Jira to maintain documentation integrity and ensure delivery transparency.
  • Act as a servant leader, managing expectations across Operations and Technology through clear, proactive communication.

Key Skills:

  • Mandatory experience working within an Investment Banking environment.
  • Proven experience working on projects involving Snowflake and Data Vault 2.0 methodologies.
  • Strong track record of delivering data-centric initiatives (e.g., cloud data migrations, regulatory reporting, or large-scale warehousing).
  • Deep understanding of the Scrum framework and Agile principles; SAFe or similar certification is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to navigate large-scale, complex transformation programmes.

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between complex business requirements and actionable technical solutions. This role is deeply Embedded within our data transformation initiatives, where you will work closely with the Data Team to deliver modern, scalable solutions.

Specifically, you will be instrumental in projects utilizing Snowflake and Data Vault methodologies. You will ensure that business logic is accurately captured and translated into technical requirements that align with our high-standard data architecture.

  • Data Strategy & Execution: Partner with Data Architects and Engineers to drive delivery on Snowflake cloud data platforms.

Delivery Model

  • Contract: Inside IR35.

  • Day Rate: Up to £550 per day.

  • Hybrid Working: Candidates must be able to commute to either Central Glasgow or Central London hubs on a hybrid basis.
