Key Responsibilities:
- Engage internal audit stakeholders to capture current state workflows, pain points, and control requirements
- Lead or support the design of future-state audit journeys and digital solutions
- Work closely with development teams and transformation leads to deliver Gen AI–enabled audit capabilities
- Map processes, support knowledge transfer, and create reusable documentation and SOPs
Key Skills:
- Experience working in or with internal audit, assurance, or control functions
- Strong BA skills (requirement gathering, gap analysis, process documentation)
- Exposure to service design techniques: journey mapping, blueprinting, stakeholder workshops
- Interest or experience in Gen AI or intelligent automation within financial services
- Familiarity with APIANT or similar low-code integration platforms (bonus)

Business Analyst / Service Designer – Internal Audit Transformation | Gen AI Focus
Robert Half is working with a global consulting partner on a high-impact transformation programme for a leading financial services client. We’re looking for a hybrid Business Analyst / Service Designer to support the modernisation of internal audit functions, with a focus on Generative AI , automation, and future-state process design. This role combines classic BA responsibilities with journey mapping and service blueprinting , supporting audit and assurance teams in reshaping how controls and assurance are delivered.
Contract Details:
- Location: Hybrid – 1–2 days onsite per week in London
- Start Date: July 2025
- Contract Length: 6 months (extensions likely)
- Rate: c.£350 p/day via PAYE ( PLUS 12.07% holiday pay accrued; employer’s NI & tax handled at source – unlike umbrella companies)
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage internal audit stakeholders to capture current state workflows, pain points, and control requirements
- Lead or support the design of future-state audit journeys and digital solutions
- Work closely with development teams and transformation leads to deliver Gen AI–enabled audit capabilities
- Map processes, support knowledge transfer, and create reusable documentation and SOPs
Nice to have: support integration/API efforts (e.g. APIANT) between systems and tooling
Ideal Profile:
- Experience working in or with internal audit, assurance, or control functions
- Strong BA skills (requirement gathering, gap analysis, process documentation)
- Exposure to service design techniques : journey mapping, blueprinting, stakeholder workshops
- Interest or experience in Gen AI or intelligent automation within financial services
- Bonus: familiarity with APIANT or similar low-code integration platforms
