Business Analyst

Summary: The Business Analyst role based in York involves working on HR systems, particularly focusing on system migration projects, ideally with Workday processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit, document, and maintain business requirements and project backlogs, including detailed user stories and technical non-functional requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops (internal and external) to gather, prioritize, and refine requirements.
• Play a pivotal role in project delivery, ensuring processes and test scenarios are successfully defined and executed.
• Translate complex specifications into actionable, product-focused outputs aligned with business goals.
• Conduct in-depth analysis and documentation of business processes, data flows, and system interactions.

Key Skills:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst in IT or technical environments.
• Strong background in HR systems and infrastructure.
• Proven experience in application and desktop migrations.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques: user stories, use cases, wireframes, UML, BPMN.
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
