Summary: The Business Analyst role at Subsea7 involves collaborating with the Digital Project Delivery team to identify and implement necessary changes to processes for project delivery. The position requires mapping current processes, understanding their ownership, and ensuring compliance while facilitating the transition to new digital workflows. The analyst will also communicate recommendations and support teams in executing these changes effectively. This role is based in Sutton, London, for an initial 12-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Digital Project Delivery team and PM Function to understand new processes and their ownership.
  • Collaborate with internal functions to assess current processes and the impact of changes.
  • Ensure cross-functional understanding of processes to support Digital Project Delivery.
  • Deliver recommendations for necessary process changes.
  • Utilize business analysis practices, including data modeling, to suggest improvements.
  • Identify processes and IT requirements for implementing recommendations.
  • Engage stakeholders to agree on methods for introducing changes.
  • Communicate benefits of recommendations and address concerns.
  • Produce documentation to support findings and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Support teams in implementing recommended changes and resolving issues.
  • Oversee and report on the evaluation of the impact of changes.
  • Interface with IT to align proposed processes with the Enterprise architecture plan.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA.
  • Strong experience in business analysis or related fields, preferably in engineering or digital project delivery.
  • Expertise in Business Process Modelling & Analysis using Microsoft Visio and BPMN diagrams.
  • Strong technical skills in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, etc.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and determine acceptable solutions.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Experience in creating detailed reports and presentations.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture.
  • History of leading and supporting successful projects.
