Summary: An experienced Business Analyst is sought to support a significant SAP HR & Payroll implementation within the Business Change Workstream. The role involves designing priority business processes and facilitating end-to-end change management from design to post-go-live sustainability. The candidate will engage with stakeholders and ensure documentation aligns with operational readiness. The position is contract-based until July 5th, with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the design of priority business processes within the Business Change Workstream
  • Facilitate process design workshops with Change Managers, SMEs and Process Owners
  • Lead the definition of To-Be processes aligned to SAP HR & Payroll functionality
  • Identify and document key process changes and business impacts
  • Create and maintain a library of To-Be Business Process Maps
  • Illustrate how processes operate across HR, Payroll, Finance, Procurement, IT and Directorate areas
  • Ensure documentation supports change, training and operational readiness
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify impacted groups and change requirements
  • Work closely with SMEs, Change Managers and Training Consultants
  • Act as a key point of contact for process-related queries
  • Provide input into the Target Operating Model where appropriate
  • Ensure process designs align with future-state organisational structures
  • Support business continuity planning
  • Assist with post go-live stabilisation and sustaining change
  • Resolve process-related issues during transition phases

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on large change or transformation programmes
  • Strong business process design and mapping experience
  • HR and Payroll implementation experience, ideally SAP
  • Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
  • SAP HR and/or SAP Payroll implementation experience
  • Experience contributing to Target Operating Model design
  • Experience in public sector, shared services or complex organisational environments

Role Overview

An experienced Business Analyst is required to support a major SAP HR & Payroll implementation, working within the Business Change / SC Workstream.
