Summary: The role of Business Analyst involves supporting a Public Sector client on a 6-month fixed-term contract, focusing on a major IT Transformation Programme. The analyst will analyze the current IT landscape and assist in developing a future operating model, contributing to service transformation and potential outsourcing. This position requires collaboration with technical and operational teams to translate complex information into actionable outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse current IT services, infrastructure, and operating models
- Support development of future-state solutions and service requirements
- Create clear documentation to support procurement and delivery activity
- Develop roadmaps, process maps, and service models
- Engage stakeholders and facilitate workshops across teams
- Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies across the programme
Key Skills:
- Experience as a Business Analyst within IT or digital transformation programmes
- Experience of working with Insourcing and Outsourcing operating models
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and service environments
- Experience of working within public sector organisations
- Proven ability to gather and document complex requirements
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders and delivery partners
- Strong communication, facilitation, and analytical skills
- Ability to operate at pace in a complex programme environment
- Degree or equivalent, BA certification (BCS, Agile BA or similar)
