Summary: Harvey Nash is seeking a Business Analyst for a 6-month contract role, classified as inside IR35, with a daily rate ranging from £400 to £430. The position primarily involves home working with occasional travel to offices in Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, or Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance/commercial system migrations and familiarity with ERP systems. Key responsibilities include leading workshops, managing stakeholder relationships, and supporting the production of business cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead workshops, interviews, focus groups and other techniques to effectively understand the business problems and needs.
  • Translate the business problem and needs into a set of options for the future solution.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment across business and technical stakeholders.
  • Document and consult on requirements in a layout and format that can be easily understood by all stakeholders.
  • As part of the modelling process, work to identify potential process improvements, considering risks, issues and benefits.
  • Support in the production of business cases and producing cost/benefit analysis for proposed solutions.

Key Skills:

  • Prior involvement in finance/commercial system migrations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle eBusiness Suite, Oracle Fusion, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of financial and commercial business processes.
  • Experience of working within public sector.

Harvey Nash is now recruiting for a Business Analyst for an initial 6-month contract, inside of IR35, Daily rate of £400 - £430 a day.

Home working with travel (up to once a week) to an office in Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield.

Ideally, we are looking for candidates with experience of:

  • Prior involvement in finance/commercial system migrations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle eBusiness Suite, Oracle Fusion, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of financial and commercial business processes.
  • Experience of working within public sector.
