Job Title: Programme Business Analyst Location: Manchester - Hybrid Day Rate : 168.00 Contract Type: Temporary Start Date: 3rd February 2025 Duration: 2 Months Closing Date: 24th January 2025 Interview Date: 30th January 2025 About the Role Meridian Business Support is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Programme Business Analyst to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving process improvement and operational excellence as part of our Improving Timeliness Programme . You will act as a change facilitator, working closely with diverse teams to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure sustainable improvements across the organisation. Key Responsibilities As the Programme Business Analyst, you will: Collaborate with operational teams to identify opportunities for standardisation and process alignment. Undertake process mapping to create detailed and accurate process models. Apply improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to design and propose enhanced processes. Conduct time and motion studies to establish baseline costs and identify areas for improvement. Develop and monitor programme performance metrics and data collection plans. Support workshops and discussions with internal and external stakeholders to promote continuous quality improvement. Provide technical input and analytical insights to support business process optimisation. Assist in creating business cases, benefit analyses, and reports to inform decision-making. Maintain project management and programme documentation, ensuring accurate records of progress and outcomes. Lead the facilitation of workshops, benchmarking activities, and user acceptance testing. Essential Criteria Qualifications Educated to degree level or equivalent experience. Certification in process mapping and improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean, Lean Six Sigma). Knowledge & Skills Proficient in quality improvement methodologies and process optimisation tools. Skilled in creating and presenting complex reports and analyses. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.). Experience Demonstrated success in business analyst roles focused on process redesign. Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve common goals. Personal Attributes A creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Self-directed and proactive, with a commitment to continuous professional development. Desirable Criteria PRINCE2 or ITIL Practitioner certification. Experience in health or social care environments. Knowledge of business planning and change management processes.
