Summary: Join a leading telecommunications company as a Business Analyst to support a short-term project focused on replacing a payroll tool used in retail stores. The role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment and collaborates with technical teams and external vendors. The position is based in Manchester/Sheffield with a contract length until 31/12/2025 and a start date as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders
- Map current and future business processes (“as-is” and “to-be”)
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and other elicitation methods
- Create documentation using Confluence and Visio (or similar tools)
- Collaborate with retail teams, technical teams, and external vendors
- Work closely with SMEs, Retail PM, and Architect to support delivery
- Ensure smooth communication between business and technical teams
Key Skills:
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong requirement gathering and documentation skills
- Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Visio, and JIRA
- Comfortable working in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running

Contract Details

Location: Manchester/Sheffield (hybrid working, twice per month on-site)
