Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of medium to complex change initiatives, including defining scope.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders, proactively driving engagement and discussions.
- Define scope, priorities, and benefits with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.
- Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, analyse non-functional requirements, and perform current and ‘to be’ state analysis.
- Analyse processes and data, presenting well-considered options for consideration.
- Document analysis outputs thoroughly, ensuring source traceability and adherence to standards, delivered within agreed timescales.
- Define user acceptance criteria.
- Apply BA toolkit knowledge and processes independently, seeking guidance where necessary.
- Peer review outputs and provide feedback to other analysts.
- Maintain and update skills within the area of specialism and contribute to best practice evolution.
Key Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of UK workplace pension processes, including auto-enrolment, annuities, and scheme maintenance.
- Familiarity with pension administration platforms and related workflows.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience using Visio for process mapping.
- Attention to detail and adaptability to regulatory changes.
- Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- 6–10 years in the UK life and pensions domain, or workplace pensions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or related field.
- Professional pension or financial services qualification is a plus.
