Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering targeted, one-to-one training and coaching for underwriters and workbench users — no lecture theatres, just real conversations
- Driving user adoption through on-the-ground engagement, addressing blockers and building confidence in the platform
- Gathering and articulating requirements for platform enhancements, turning user feedback into clear, actionable insights
- Acting as a trusted point of contact for day-to-day queries, escalating where needed and keeping users engaged
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable experience working closely with underwriters
- Proven ability to support user adoption of an Underwriting Workbench or comparable insurance platform
- A background in business analysis, consultancy, or client-side support — with a strong focus on user experience
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements for non-technical enhancements, with an eye for what users actually need
- Ideally a background working with an insurance technology vendor
- Comfortable navigating both the business and the technology

Underwriting Workbench / Consultant / User Adoption / Training / Insurance Contract opportunity working within the London Market insurance sector, initial 6mths, hybrid working (3 days p/wk in the office), market rates available (outside IR35) We're looking for an experienced consultant who knows what it means to sit alongside an underwriter — not to train them in a classroom, but to work with them one-to-one, in the flow of their day, helping them get the most from their Underwriting Workbench. This is a hands-on, people-first engagement. You'll build trust with users, champion adoption, and act as a critical bridge between the front-line team and the platform — surfacing the enhancements that will genuinely make a difference.
