Summary: The role of Business Analyst involves working with a major global financial services firm to support bespoke software projects, specifically within the Innovations and Integrations teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and compliance stakeholders to shape software requirements.
- Ensure delivery is efficient, regulator-ready, and aligned with business goals.
- Work closely with development teams on bespoke software applications.
- Manage workshops, user stories, backlog management, and UAT support.
- Communicate effectively across compliance, product, and engineering teams.
- Support Agile delivery processes including backlog management and user acceptance testing.
Key Skills:
- Experience in financial services, ideally in payments or transaction monitoring.
- Direct experience as a Business Analyst with bespoke software development teams.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable solutions.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and delivery processes.
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with technologies such as C#.NET, Temenos, D365 CRM, SQL, Jira, and Confluence.

We’re working with a major global financial services firm (circa 700 employees) that is currently scaling its software and software product delivery functions. They’re hiring 2 Business Analysts, one to join the Innovations team (payments and transaction monitoring) and one for the Integrations team (core platforms including Temenos and D365 CRM).
As a Business Analyst, you’ll be working directly with product owners, developers, compliance stakeholders, and senior management. You’ll play a key role in shaping requirements, ensuring delivery is efficient, regulator-ready, and aligned with business goals. This is a bespoke software environment, so you’ll be working closely with development teams building and enhancing in-house applications.
Non-Negotiables:
- Financial services experience (ideally payments, transaction banking, or transaction monitoring)
- Direct experience as a Business Analyst working with software development teams on bespoke software applications
Desirable:
- Expose to payments product launches or transaction monitoring projects
- Knowledge of compliance and governance frameworks within FS
Whilst you won’t be technically hands-on in this role you stake holders will be using the following tech:
- Development teams coding applications in C#.NET
- Temenos (core banking)
- D365 CRM
- Transaction monitoring systems
- SQL, Jira, Confluence
