Summary: The Business Analyst role is a 6-month contract position focused on translating business needs into technical requirements for software engineers. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product and project leads to uncover deeper business needs and help shape clear, actionable requirements.
- Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to define problems and align on potential solutions.
- Handle straightforward technical and business challenges with practical, well-defined approaches.
- Assist in scoping projects and estimating effort required to meet business objectives.
- Develop and maintain user stories, epics, and feature documentation.
- Act as a bridge between product teams and software engineering to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Analyse business inputs to determine technical requirements and system impact.
- Help transform high-level requirements into practical delivery milestones.
- Work closely with engineering and systems teams to refine and break down user stories into manageable tasks.
- Improve consistency and structure of JIRA artefacts, templates, and workflows.
- Contribute to user-facing documentation, including manuals and support guides.
