The Role
As a Product / Business Analyst, you will partner with Product Leaders, business stakeholders, Technology, Operations and Compliance teams to understand business needs, define requirements and support the successful delivery of key initiatives.
You will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through to solution validation, implementation and post-deployment support.
The role will involve analysing complex business challenges, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring that solutions deliver positive outcomes for customers, the business and operational teams while meeting regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis and discovery activities across key initiatives.
- Gather, document, manage and validate detailed business and functional requirements.
- Translate complex business problems into clear, actionable requirements and solutions.
- Conduct business impact assessments and contribute to future-state solution design.
- Analyse existing processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and business transformation.
- Work closely with Product Leaders, stakeholders, Technology, Operations and Compliance teams.
- Facilitate workshops, discussions and requirements-gathering sessions with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ensure business and stakeholder needs are accurately represented throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support solution delivery through requirements validation, testing and business acceptance/UAT.
- Support implementation readiness and change activities.
- Provide post-deployment support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage competing priorities while maintaining a strong focus on quality and business outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Business Systems Analyst or similar.
- Strong experience gathering, documenting and managing complex business and functional requirements.
- Excellent process analysis, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Experience supporting business transformation, technology implementation or product development initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
- Experience facilitating workshops and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with UAT, requirements validation and solution implementation.
- Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into practical technology-enabled solutions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Financial Services Experience
Experience within financial services, banking, investments, securities, wealth management, pensions, employee benefits, equity compensation or another regulated environment would be highly advantageous.
Direct experience with Stock Plan Services, employee share plans, stock options, RSUs, ESPPs or equity compensation would be beneficial but is not essential for the right candidate.
The Environment
Stock Plan Services supports the administration of corporate equity compensation programmes, including stock options, restricted stock awards, employee stock purchase plans (ESPP), stock appreciation rights and performance-based equity awards.
The successful candidate will therefore be working in an environment where customer experience, operational efficiency, technology, regulatory compliance and accuracy are all critical.
