Summary: The Business Analyst role is a contract position focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM) within Enterprise Cybersecurity. The analyst will bridge business needs and technical solutions, engaging with various stakeholders to ensure IAM capabilities align with security and compliance objectives. The position requires a strong understanding of IAM technologies and involves detailed process analysis and documentation. The role is based in Dublin, requiring one week a month in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct detailed process mapping, gap analysis, and impact assessments for IAM initiatives, including migration from legacy systems.
  • Support integration of IAM tools and technologies (e.g., Active Directory, MFA, SSO, HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk) into enterprise workflows.
  • Document current and future state architectures, data flows, and system interactions using diagrams and technical documentation.
  • Facilitate workshops with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions.
  • Assist in defining IAM policies and controls, including provisioning, access reviews, and role-based access models.
  • Collaborate with agile teams to ensure timely delivery of IAM features and enhancements, leveraging Scrum and Agile practices.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve IAM processes and user experience.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for reference by engineering and business teams.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years' experience in technical/business analysis within software delivery or cybersecurity domains.
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts and technologies (authentication, authorization, identity federation, secrets management).
  • Proficiency in requirements elicitation, process modeling, and translating business needs into technical deliverables.
  • Familiarity with modern application development practices and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
