Summary: The role of Senior Business Analyst involves a 12-month hybrid contract based in Dublin, requiring the candidate to work two days a week in the office. The position demands immediate availability and a strong background in business process analysis, project management, and systems analysis. The successful candidate will engage in all aspects of the project life cycle, from analysis to implementation and testing, while facilitating workshops and building documentation. A project management qualification is essential, along with a relevant degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct business process analysis, including process mapping.
- Utilize systematic and methodology-driven approaches for business process analysis.
- Manage projects following structured methodologies.
- Facilitate workshops for requirements gathering.
- Design business processes incorporating process mapping.
- Build user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Create comprehensive test plans and documentation for solution delivery.
- Transition support documentation to stakeholders.
- Provide system support and understanding of operational systems.
- Work across all aspects of the project life cycle from analysis to implementation and testing.
Key Skills:
- Immediate availability.
- Level 8 qualification on the NFQ major award or higher in a relevant discipline.
- Project management qualification/certification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile SCRUM).
- Strong systems analysis skills with experience in multiple methodologies.
- Experience with analysis tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in prototyping techniques, including wireframing.
- Strong research skills for decision-making and business cases.
- Demonstrable project management experience with supporting certification preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and schedule work effectively.
- Experience in system testing, UAT, and implementation training.
