Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a hybrid contract role within the UK Government sector, requiring 2-3 days on-site in Leeds per week. The role involves shaping business requirements, leading workshops, and supporting Agile delivery teams for digital transformation initiatives. The contract length is initially set for 3 to 6 months. The position is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements in alignment with project objectives.
- Facilitate and lead workshops with diverse stakeholders, including technical, business, and government representatives.
- Collaborate with Agile delivery teams to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and support sprint planning.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to ensure clear understanding and agreement of business needs.
- Perform process mapping, gap analysis, and propose solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Support change management and communication plans throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in UK Government / Public Sector projects.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Demonstrable expertise in planning, facilitating, and leading workshops with mixed stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively in a hybrid working environment.
- All candidates must be based in the UK.
