Summary: The Business Analyst role within Liverpool City Council's Transformation Team focuses on enhancing customer experience through process improvement and business analysis. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure best practices are implemented and maintained. The successful candidate will also mentor Assistant Business Analysts and facilitate workshops aimed at delivering impactful change. This hybrid role involves working three days in the office and emphasizes strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the business to review complex service processes and identify improvements.
- Lead on embedding a business improvement way of working at all levels and demonstrate the value of working in this way.
- Ensure that business analysis practices are reviewed regularly to remain fit for purpose and in line with industry best practice.
- Work on business cases to ensure projects and programmes deliver best practice.
- Support Assistant Business Analysts to help them achieve their work objectives through knowledge sharing and expertise.
Key Skills:
- Foundation of a business analysis qualification or equivalent experience.
- Skilled at understanding and improving processes.
- Able to facilitate workshops to support process improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Liverpool City Council is embarking on an exciting transformation programme of unprecedented breadth and scale. As a result,
we’re expanding our Transformation Team and are looking for a Business Analyst to support on our Customer Experience programme
Hybrid worker (3 days in the office)
Key Responsibilities:
- You will work closely with the business to review complex service processes and identify improvements
- You will lead on embedding a business improvement way of working at all levels and demonstrate the value of working in this way
- You will ensure that our business analysis practices are reviewed regularly to make sure they’re still fit for purpose and in line with industry best practice
- You will work on business cases to ensure that our projects and programmes are delivering best practice
- You will support our Assistant Business Analysts to help them successfully achieve their work objectives through sharing your knowledge and expertise.
