Summary: The Business Analyst role within Liverpool City Council's Transformation Team focuses on enhancing customer experience through process improvement and business analysis. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the business to review complex service processes and identify improvements.
  • Lead on embedding a business improvement way of working at all levels and demonstrate the value of working in this way.
  • Ensure that business analysis practices are reviewed regularly to remain fit for purpose and in line with industry best practice.
  • Work on business cases to ensure projects and programmes deliver best practice.
  • Support Assistant Business Analysts to help them achieve their work objectives through knowledge sharing and expertise.

Key Skills:

  • Foundation of a business analysis qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Skilled at understanding and improving processes.

Sits within the Transformation Team

Liverpool City Council is embarking on an exciting transformation programme of unprecedented breadth and scale. As a result,

we’re expanding our Transformation Team and are looking for a Business Analyst to support on our Customer Experience programme

Hybrid worker (3 days in the office)

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will work closely with the business to review complex service processes and identify improvements
  • You will lead on embedding a business improvement way of working at all levels and demonstrate the value of working in this way
  • You will ensure that our business analysis practices are reviewed regularly to make sure they’re still fit for purpose and in line with industry best practice
  • You will work on business cases to ensure that our projects and programmes are delivering best practice
  • You will support our Assistant Business Analysts to help them successfully achieve their work objectives through sharing your knowledge and expertise.

Alongside the foundation of a business analysis qualification or equivalent experience, you’ll be skilled at understanding and improving processes, and will be able to facilitate workshops to support with this.
