Summary: Business Analyst required for a 6-month contract in Sizewell, Suffolk, with an immediate start ideally in mid-April 2025. The role involves working with a global IT consultancy in the Nuclear Energy sector, focusing on IT change programmes and improving operational efficiency. Candidates must have a full UK driving licence and access to a car for regular travel between local sites. The position offers a hybrid working arrangement, with three days on-site and two days remote each week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scoping, shaping and implementing IT change programmes for Nuclear New Build Shared Services.
- Managing large-scale, complex IT change programmes, ideally within the Nuclear sector.
- Improving business operational efficiency and removing duplication.
- Capturing and prioritising business requirements, defining business cases, project objectives, risks/issues, and success measures.
- Identifying and evaluating best solution options, presenting to project boards, and clarifying the potential impact of proposed IT changes.
- Handling Request for Information (RFI), Invitation to Tender (ITT), and evaluation score cards.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders including IT Architects, 3rd party suppliers, and internal business units.
- Utilising knowledge of ONR licences and CNS in the Nuclear industry.
Key Skills:
- Experience in scoping and implementing IT change programmes.
- Knowledge of large-scale, complex IT change programmes, preferably in the Nuclear sector.
- Ability to improve business operational efficiency.
- Strong skills in capturing and prioritising business requirements.
- Experience with RFI, ITT, and evaluation score cards.
- Collaboration skills with IT Architects and suppliers.
- Familiarity with Nuclear industry regulations and standards.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
