Summary: The Business Analyst role involves extensive experience in business analysis, project leadership, and agile methodologies, particularly in the context of social services within the public sector. The candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, developing functional designs, and facilitating communication between technical teams and client stakeholders. The position requires a strong background in functional analysis, software design, and testing implementation of products. Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in business analysis, design, development, architecture, integration, production support, and project leadership.
  • Work across various methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe as an Agile Business Analyst.
  • Conduct functional analysis, software design, process modeling, and business process flow diagramming.
  • Develop business cases, manage requirements, document use cases, and test product implementations.
  • Gather and define requirements through interviews and meetings with client subject matter experts.
  • Provide information on the data model, explaining entities, attributes, and their relationships.
  • Lead fit/gap sessions mapping requirements to standard features and functions.
  • Advise on application/functional extensions to meet client solution requirements.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical staff and client stakeholders during extension development.
  • Develop functional designs associated with extensions.
  • Plan and execute tests to verify solution configuration and extensions meet requirements.

Key Skills:

  • Effective presentation delivery and written communication skills.
  • Experience in social services programs within the government/public sector.
  • Screen design and storyboarding skills.
  • Experience leading Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.
  • Exposure to UK legislative rules and benefits schemes (good to have).
  • Background in the public sector, ideally in the social welfare domain (desirable).

Job Description

  • Ø  Experience in business analysis, design, development, architecture, integration, production support, and project leadership.
  • Ø  Agile Business Analyst with practical experience working across various methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
  • Ø  Experience of functional analysis, software design, Process modelling, business process flow diagram.
  • Ø  Extensive experience developing business cases, eliciting and managing requirements, documenting use cases, and testing implementation of product.
  • Ø  Gather and/or define requirements, often through interviews and facilitating meetings with client subject matter experts.
  • Ø  Provide information on the data model and explain entities and attributes in the model and the relationships between them.
  • Ø  Lead fit/gap sessions that map requirements to standard features and functions.
  • Ø  Recommend and advise on application/functional extensions, as necessary, to client solution requirements.
  • Ø  Serve as a bridge between technical staff and client stakeholders and authorities when the Curam technical team develops extensions.
  • Ø  Develop functional designs associated with the extensions.
  • Ø  Plan and execute tests to verify the solution is properly configured and extended to meet requirements.
