Summary: The Business Analyst role in Glasgow requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in business analysis, particularly within the social services sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business analysis, design, development, architecture, integration, production support, and project leadership.
- Facilitate Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and lead fit/gap analysis.
- Gather and define requirements through interviews and meetings with subject matter experts.
- Develop business cases, document use cases, and test product implementations.
- Provide insights on data models and explain relationships between entities and attributes.
- Recommend application/functional extensions to meet client requirements.
- Plan and execute tests to ensure solutions meet specified requirements.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong presentation and written communication skills.
- Experience in social services programs within the government/public sector.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Experience in functional analysis, software design, and process modeling.
- Ability to develop business cases and manage requirements effectively.
- Knowledge of UK legislative rules and benefits schemes is a plus.
