Summary: The Business Analyst role is a 6-month hybrid contract based in either Perth or Glasgow, focusing on process improvement within utilities and sustainability sectors. The candidate will leverage Lean Six Sigma methodologies and data analysis to enhance business processes and gather requirements from stakeholders. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Create detailed process maps to visualise current and future state processes.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to drive process improvement initiatives and achieve measurable results.
  • Perform data analysis to support decision-making and process optimisation.
  • Gather, document, and analyse business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Use MoSCoW prioritisation to categorise and prioritise requirements effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop solutions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvement strategies and best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of process changes to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of process mapping tools and techniques.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.
  • Familiarity with MoSCoW prioritisation methodology.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Visio and other relevant software applications.

Salary (Rate): £500
