Business Analyst
Summary: The Business Analyst role in Exeter involves bridging business objectives with technology solutions through proactive analysis and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyse, and document business requirements across projects
- Maintain and prioritise requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Produce clear documentation (eg requirements specifications, user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria) appropriate to the delivery approach
- Work closely with Product Specialists and stakeholders to translate business rules into practical solutions
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and other teams to clarify requirements throughout delivery
- Contribute to data-related activities, including data mapping, validation, and quality assurance
- Engage stakeholders to support understanding, alignment, and effective decision-making
Key Skills:
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst within software delivery or system change
- Experience working across different delivery methodologies (eg Agile and/or Waterfall)
- Ability to produce clear, structured documentation suitable for a range of delivery approaches
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills
- Experience supporting system implementation or transformation projects
- Experience with data migration or data focused work (desirable)
- Familiarity with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps (desirable)
