Summary: The Business Analyst role involves joining a Modern Workplace programme to enhance identity and security capabilities, focusing on Active Directory improvements and Microsoft Data Loss Prevention. The position requires engaging with stakeholders to document business requirements and translating these into actionable solutions. The analyst will also evaluate existing systems, define requirements, and contribute to planning activities within a collaborative environment. This contract position is inside IR35 and requires a minimum of two days onsite per week in South Croydon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders across the organisation to elicit, assess, and document business requirements using a range of structured techniques
  • Translate business needs into clear, traceable requirements aligned to strategic outcomes
  • Evaluate existing systems and processes, identifying gaps and recommending practical, effective solutions
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business processes to assess cross-functional impacts of proposed changes
  • Define both functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring solutions meet operational and performance expectations
  • Analyse complex data and technical specifications to support informed decision-making and solution design
  • Contribute to planning activities, supporting delivery roadmaps and ensuring alignment across workstreams
  • Uphold best practices and standards, while actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within technology-driven projects
  • Strong understanding of identity management and/or data protection technologies (e.g., Entra ID, DLP)
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working within structured delivery frameworks and governance models

Business Analyst – Contract (Inside IR35) Location: South Croydon (minimum 2 days onsite per week) Duration: Initial 6 months We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a key Modern Workplace programme focused on enhancing identity and security capabilities, including Active Directory (Entra ID) improvements and Microsoft Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
