Summary: The Business Analyst role at Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) involves analyzing clinical informatics practices to identify problems and opportunities for improvement within clinical product initiatives. The position requires collaboration with the Clinical Informatics and Business Change teams to enhance integrated working through business process re-engineering and the implementation of the CI Framework. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, knowledge of business analysis tools, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is a fixed-term position until March 31, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Clinical Informatics and Business Change teams by analyzing clinical practices to produce solutions and improvements.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and develop a good understanding of the identified work area.
- Utilize appropriate tools and techniques to capture information and deliver analysis and insights for decision-making.
Key Skills:
- Post-graduate level education or equivalent specialist knowledge and experience.
- BSC International Diploma in Business Analysis or willingness to undertake it.
- Experience in investigating complex problems and identifying opportunities.
- Strong planning, communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to challenge teams and stakeholders about current processes.
- Understanding of agile working with practical experience.
- Welsh language skills are desirable.
