This is initially a 3 month contract which may be extended for the right applicant

You will

• Construct workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, writing specifications, producing as-is' process maps, use cases/user stories, product backlogs and to-be' design documents as required.
• Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications and recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
• Play a key role in the project team, including defining project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements and supporting the establishment of an appropriate project budget through validating resource requirements for business analysis work.
• Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues
• Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes to the wider project team.
• Develop an appropriate level of understanding of IT solutions design and implementation to inform potential design options for end-to-end processes with an awareness of what IT solutions can enable.
• Support knowledge transfer to service area colleagues in relevant skills, tools and approaches to support adoption of process change and delivery of benefits, and to develop continuous improvement skills.
