Summary: The role of Senior Business Analyst involves supporting a large-scale telemetry modernization program by collaborating with operational, engineering, and control room teams. The position requires extensive experience in technical environments, particularly in telemetry and SCADA systems. Key responsibilities include documenting requirements, mapping processes, and facilitating workshops. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
- Map as-is / to-be processes, data flows, alarms, and system integrations
- Develop use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items
- Facilitate workshops with operations, SCADA, OT/IT, and vendors
- Support alarm rationalisation, telemetry standards, and future-state design
- Assist with UAT, field validation, change impact, and transition planning
Key Skills:
- 10+ years as a Business Analyst in technical / OT environments
- Strong experience with Telemetry, SCADA, remote monitoring, RTUs, PLCs, sensors
- Proven delivery on large transformation or system replacement programmes
- Expertise in requirements engineering, BPMN, data & system flow mapping
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
