Summary: The Business Analyst role is a 12-month contract position based in Belfast, focusing on the Futures and Derivatives team within a global financial institution. The analyst will be responsible for evaluating control processes, optimizing business operations, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The position requires a hybrid working arrangement, with three days in the office each week. There is potential for contract extension beyond the initial term.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate front-to-back control processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
- Lead reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies for Target Operating Models, BRDs, User Stories, and Test Cases.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Communicate with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and validate requirements for changes to control processes.
- Identify, document, and analyse business requirements against risk through process discovery.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and escalate control issues transparently.
Key Skills:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a Business Analyst role.
- Knowledge of Futures and Options products and the Clearing industry.
- Experience working across multiple disciplines within finance or a related industry.
