Business Analyst

Summary: The role of Business Analyst focuses on regulatory change within a financial services organization in Belfast. The position requires extensive experience in banking and regulatory programs, emphasizing effective communication and analytical skills. The analyst will work onsite three days a week and is expected to deliver business analysis and project delivery within a regulatory framework. Candidates must have a minimum of five years' experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct business analysis for regulatory programs within a complex financial services organization.
• Collaborate with Business Managers, Front Office Trading & Sales, Legal, and Compliance teams.
• Deliver project outcomes from legal interpretation to business impact analysis and handover to BAU.
• Provide updates to project/program managers and stakeholders.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools for data analysis and process flow documentation.

Key Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst in Banking.
• Experience with MiFID regulations is beneficial.
• Proven track record in business analysis and project delivery within a regulatory framework.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
