Summary: The role of a Business Analyst involves working with a global financial institution's outreach team, requiring expertise in business analysis within enterprise organizations, preferably in financial or professional services. The candidate will be responsible for understanding regulatory rules, analyzing data sets, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and reporting. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand regulatory rulesets in detail and their applicability to in-scope entities and clients
  • Respond to internal and external queries including completion of necessary analysis, escalation and research required to create an accurate response
  • Analyze and dissect large data sets according to applicable rule requirements
  • Design and create intelligent metrics and reports for multiple audiences
  • Work with cross-functional areas and often senior stakeholders to ensure queries are responded to successfully
  • Follow predefined quality control processes and escalation routes
  • Support outreach activities including QA checks, monitoring, reporting, and tracking
  • Quickly grasp complex problems, complete accurate analysis and work with the team to develop solutions e.g. new processes
  • Exhibit strong influencing and stakeholder management skills

Key Skills:

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience as a BA
  • Good knowledge of the financial landscape
  • Detail-oriented, with strong Excel skills in particular, PIVOT Tables, vLookups (& ideally Macros)
  • Experience working with large data sets within Excel for analysis and reporting
  • Client-facing experience preferred, particularly in projects involving outreach to numerous clients
  • Attention to detail and intuition when dealing with Clients and Senior Stakeholders

We are working with a global financial institution to recruit a business analyst to work as part of the outreach team.
The candidate must be an individual experienced in business analysis and with sufficient subject experience operating as a BA in an enterprise organization (preferably financial or professional services).

Key responsibilities:

  • Being capable of understanding regulatory rulesets in detail and their applicability to in-scope entities and clients
  • Respond to internal and external queries including completion of necessary analysis, escalation and research required to create an accurate response
  • Analyze and dissect large data sets according to applicable rule requirements
  • Design and create intelligent metrics and reports for multiple audiences
  • Work with cross-functional areas and often senior stakeholders to ensure queries are responded to successfully
  • Be able to follow predefined quality control processes and escalation routes
  • Support outreach activities including QA checks, monitoring, reporting, and tracking
  • Be able to quickly grasp complex problems, complete accurate analysis and work with the team to develop solutions e.g. new processes
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills

To be considered for this role you must possess the following skills/experience:

  • 2-5years of relevant work experience as a BA
