Summary: The Business Analyst (Idox Acolaid/Idox Uniform) will play a crucial role in a cloud migration programme, transitioning from a legacy case management system to a modern SaaS platform within a local government context. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business analysis activities for the system migration programme
- Engage with stakeholders across planning, building control, and land charges functions
- Elicit, document, and validate business and system requirements
- Analyse current (as-is) processes and design improved (to-be) workflows
- Support data migration activities, including data mapping and validation
- Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and project managers
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and local government requirements
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on system migration or transformation projects
- Experience working in local government, planning, or regulatory environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong documentation skills, including BRDs, process maps, and user stories
- Experience with data migration, integration, and testing processes
- Familiarity with Agile and/or PRINCE2 delivery methodologies

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Idox Acolaid/Idox Uniform) to play a pivotal role in a major cloud migration programme, supporting the transition from a Legacy case management system to a modern SaaS cloud platform. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a critical transformation project within a local government setting.
You will be Embedded in the programme team and work closely with stakeholders across planning, building control, and land charges functions - ensuring business requirements are accurately captured, processes are optimised, and the transition is delivered smoothly with minimal disruption to services.
