Business Analyst (HR, Workday) needed urgently for an initial 2-month engagement (likely to extend) with our Consultancy client onsite with a large Financial Services organisation in either London or Glasgow (hybrid). The right candidate must have demonstrable Business analysis expertise combined with HR related project experience, ideally including Workday and HR related absence, recruitment or internal mobility related project expertise.
Candidates must engage via an FCSA accredited Umbrella Company, and the role is hybrid, with 2-3 days per week onsite in either London, or Glasgow depending on the successful candidates base location.
The role will suit an experienced Business Analyst to support a large-scale HR transformation programme within a leading financial services organisation. This role will focus on reviewing and improving key HR processes, working closely with stakeholders to understand current challenges, define business requirements, and deliver recommendations that drive operational efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead discovery activities to define business problems and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct current-state assessments and map end-to-end employee journeys.
- Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements from a broad range of stakeholders.
- Review existing processes and policies, identifying opportunities for simplification and optimisation.
- Support the delivery of HR transformation initiatives across multiple workstreams.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on change and transformation initiatives.
- Strong skills in process mapping, requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and business process improvement.
- Previous experience within financial services environments.
- Knowledge of HR processes, specifically:
- Absence Management
- Recruitment & Internal Mobility
- Experience working with Workday.
- Ability to quickly mobilise, work autonomously, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
