Summary: The role of FP&A Business Analyst involves supporting a finance transformation program through the implementation of a new FP&A tool and the automation of key finance processes. The position requires a combination of business analysis, financial expertise, and testing skills to facilitate this significant transformation. The analyst will work closely with various teams to ensure successful design and implementation. The contract is for three months with a hybrid working arrangement in Greater Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and map originating systems and subsequent flows to financial reporting systems.
  • Map data and process flows to and from the new FP&A tool through the ecosystem.
  • Support the business to design templates in the new FP&A tool for multiple users.
  • Co-ordinate UAT with due diligence to ensure assumptions are validated.
  • Work with Project Manager, Solution Architect, Technical Team & Finance Team to successfully design and build MVP for implementation.

Key Skills:

  • Adept Business Analysis experience.
  • Strong finance experience, specifically with FP&A tools.
  • High proficiency with MS Excel.
  • Proven ability to successfully map data and process flows.
  • Previous testing experience.
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors, demonstrating strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Dynamic and proactive with a strong ability to drive projects forward.
  • Excellent cultural fit to work collaboratively with internal teams.

Salary (Rate): 600
