Your new company Hays have partnered with a Japanese investment bank to appoint an experienced Technical Business Analyst to an initial contract to 31/03/27. Working as part of a tight-knit team across an ongoing Financial Crime and Compliance System book of work, if you're a strong Business Analyst with a background in AML, transaction monitoring, and electronic/voice communication systems and a strong eye for system diagnostics then we want to hear from you.

Hybrid : Yes, 40% in-office
Location : London
Rate : £700 - £750/day via Umbrella
Your new role and what you'll need to succeed
- Lead the analysis, design, and rollout of AML and Compliance technology solutions that support the firm's Banking & Markets business.
- Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Operations, and technology teams to turn regulatory and business requirements into clear, practical specifications.
- Take ownership of the full delivery process - from scoping and solution design through testing, UAT, implementation, and regular updates to senior stakeholders.
- Partner with developers, architects, and external vendors to build reliable systems, resolve issues, manage data flows, and support upgrades and ongoing platform improvements.
- Act as a key point of contact for the business, helping define acceptance criteria, tackling production issues, and continuously improving how compliance systems operate.
- Experience in Symphony AI; Quantexa; Tradinghub; Nuix; and/or Behavox will be very highly regarded.
